Check Reddit video and sound
Open the individual Reddit post
Copy the post URL rather than the subreddit homepage. A community page can contain many unrelated media links.
Find the original media source
A Reddit post may host a video or link to another service. External media may require the downloader page for that source.
Check crossposts before saving
A crosspost can refer to an earlier post. Open the original when needed to confirm which upload contains the video.
Sound may be separate
Reddit media can use separate audio and video streams. This interface does not guarantee that the returned file includes both.
Confirm that the clip is accessible
Removed posts and restricted communities may prevent processing. Check the original post instead of repeatedly submitting an unavailable URL.
Check the submitted post
Paste its full address and select Check video. Review the preview before saving the result.
Listen to your saved copy
Open the downloaded file with sound enabled. If it is silent, changing a resolution label does not guarantee an audio track will be added.
Try the current post address
If an old share URL fails, reopen the post and copy a fresh link. The media may have changed since the link was shared.
Privacy, rights and responsible use
Use DL VdZip only for content you are allowed to access and save. Public availability is not the same as permission to redistribute, modify or monetise a creator’s work. Follow the platform’s terms, copyright rules and relevant privacy expectations. Be especially considerate when a video includes people who are not public figures or shows personal information. For reuse, request permission and retain source attribution whenever appropriate.
Keep discussion context separately
Comments and the post title are not part of the video file. Keep the source URL if you need to return to the discussion.
