Check a Facebook video before saving
Open the original video post
Find the Facebook post that contains the video. Copy its own link rather than a Page, profile or group homepage address.
Follow a shared post to its source
A shared post may point to another upload. Open that original video to confirm which clip you are asking the tool to process.
Check the complete recording
Compare the title and duration with the video you intended to save. A preview or excerpt may be a different upload from the full recording.
Audience settings still apply
Friends-only posts and restricted group videos may require authorised access. This downloader does not bypass those audience settings.
App access does not guarantee a download
A clip that plays while you are signed in may not be accessible to the service. Check the original post if processing returns no result.
Submit the video address
Paste the full post URL into the form and select Check video. Review any returned preview before starting the download.
Check picture and sound
After saving, open the file on your device. Confirm that it contains the expected clip and that sound is present where expected.
Replace an outdated link
If the video is still available, copy its current share link and retry. Deleted posts and changed audience settings cannot be fixed by submitting again.
Privacy, rights and responsible use
Use DL VdZip only for content you are allowed to access and save. Public availability is not the same as permission to redistribute, modify or monetise a creator’s work. Follow the platform’s terms, copyright rules and relevant privacy expectations. Be especially considerate when a video includes people who are not public figures or shows personal information. For reuse, request permission and retain source attribution whenever appropriate.
Downloading a Facebook Reel?
Use the Facebook Reels page for instructions specific to Reels. The link should open one Reel, not the scrolling Reels feed.
