Turn a video Pin link into a download
Start with a video Pin
Open the individual Pin and confirm that it plays a video. A still image Pin does not contain a downloadable video clip.
Avoid board and profile addresses
Boards and profiles group many Pins together. Use the address of the particular video Pin you want to process.
Check where the video is hosted
A Pin may link to another website instead of hosting the clip itself. An external video is not necessarily available through the Pin URL.
Keep the original reference
A recipe, craft or tutorial may include written instructions outside the video. Save the original Pin link separately if you will need those details.
Follow a pin.it redirect
A short Pinterest address may lead to the full Pin page. If the short link fails, open the Pin and copy its current address.
Process one Pin at a time
Paste the video Pin URL and select Check video. Review the returned clip before downloading.
Review the tutorial playback
Check that the saved video contains the steps you need. Text in the Pin description is not automatically included in a video file.
When the Pin cannot be processed
It may contain only an image, lead to an external source or no longer expose accessible media. Recheck the Pin itself before retrying.
Privacy, rights and responsible use
Use DL VdZip only for content you are allowed to access and save. Public availability is not the same as permission to redistribute, modify or monetise a creator’s work. Follow the platform’s terms, copyright rules and relevant privacy expectations. Be especially considerate when a video includes people who are not public figures or shows personal information. For reuse, request permission and retain source attribution whenever appropriate.
Check the downloaded file
Open the saved clip in your player. Its quality and sound depend on the returned media rather than the thumbnail shown on Pinterest.
